I'm a nurse, a wife and a mom. I have an abiding love for anything that I can find to get into outdoors. This includes camping, canoeing and gardening, as well as piddling with photography while I am doing the aforementioned.

I am lucky enough to live in a rural area of central Wisconsin, which allows me access to a number of the things I enjoy doing most. One of my special pleasures is exploring my little corner of the state to find those beautiful and fascinating areas that frequently escape attention. I enjoy hauling my family with me to do so when it is at all possible.
