My Story
Once upon a time there was a little girl who grew up all her life in Minnesota. She met a guy when she was 20, they fell in love, and in 2005 they had a son.
After he was born they decided they needed a new camera so they bought a cheap Kodak. The son got older as did the camera.
A year later they decided to upgrade their camera to a $300 Casio. She also then became interested in Photoshop, but was on a budget so only was able to get Elements 5. This camera was definitely a step up, but she was still not satisfied.
With her tax return, she was able to get a Canon Rebel XT (which came with the kit 18-55mm lens. She soon realized that that kit wasn't enough. Within a few months she had included in her collection a 50mm 1.4 and a 75-300mm III. Then as a Thanksgiving present to herself, she bought a 430EX flash, which she highly recommends to EVERYONE!
To this day she enjoys taking photos of nature, her son and anything else that she finds interesting. She also now loves to browse the wonderful Flickr and look at others' photos.
--To Be Continued.......
Updated 12/07/09: she has since sold her Rebel XT and got herself a Rebel T1i and has also gotten the Tamron 28-75mm, a lensbaby muse, a wireless remote, a tripod, and a nice big backpack to carry all this stuff in. =)
The End.... for now.
(feel free to leave any helpful comments/suggestions) Thanks and hope you enjoy!!
