Thank you for taking the time to stop by.
My photography journey started years ago when I picked up a relatives SLR and have never got over the noise of the shutter and the feeling of winding on. Later in life I toyed with film, developing and had a huge B&W phase!
Much later I was given a book as a gift. It was called 'One Day For Life' and featured hundreds of photos taken all over the world on one day. It refuelled my passion and I havn't put down a camera since. My family hate going out with me and are often heard to say "Come on, how many pictures can you take of one thing!!". But they put up with me.
I think capturing that split second in time which will never happen again EVER is something really special.
As much as I love my 40D, I recently got a Pentax ME Super and it is oh so special. Maybe its reminiscence but nostalgia is a good thing. It reminds us where we came from and what made us who we are.
I truly appreciate your comments, even the criticism, we never stop learning. (not too keen on those sparkly things though!!).
I try and take the time to comment on my contacts pics weekly and anywhere else something great catches my eye. You never know, taking just 10 seconds out of your time could make someone smile at the other end and know they are appreciated even in the smallest way :)
