A beautiful picture can make my day. Since I discoved Flickr I have spent quite a bit of my spare time just looking and enjoying everyone's work. I decided to join in may 2008 and have had no regrets since.

I prefer to do my framing on camera, so no cropping afterwards. I will mention when a picture is cropped.

I´m more of a photographer than a photoshopper, so only slight adjustments made, and no content added or removed.

I'm a bit reluctant in joining groups because I don't like too many rules. Invitations will always be considered, but won't always be accepted. Having to award or comment on others is a reason not to join, because that could mean I was just picked because somebody had to. I don't care too much about Explore, so fave my images if you like, but I prefer your honest opinion on my pictures, as I will on yours. I prefer not to get too many notes in my images because it distracts the viewers attention.

Anyway, I'll let my pictures do the talk for me, so I won't add large descriptions, if any. This is a photo community, so in my view it's the picture in itself that should be appreciated, not the story to it.

I have a broad interest in all kinds of stuff. You'll find all kinds of subjects in my stream. Hopefully I can surprise you every once in a while.

Commenting in any language is welcome. I use a translator to understand what you wrote. My comments will be in Dutch, English or sometimes German, all to the best of my ability of course.

To prevent illegal use of content in my stream as much as possible my images only occasionally exceed 800x800 pix.
