I have been remiss: indeed, of all the people worthy of a testimonial, Diane Kramer should hurtle right to the top of the line; but she came to me first, characteristically generous and giving, as are her art and photographs. The she wolf concocts mesemrizing worlds of her own, totems ney civilizations both elemental and complex riddled with warm colors in which exorcised demons gleefully parade, often gorgeous princesses, offsprings not fallen far from the tree. Not that this cosic Kramer is out of touch with her immediate surroundings: I had the pleasure of entering her portal via images of a once-glorious Detroit, begging to return to something of its former self; yet all the more elegant in the face of indignity. Spiritual but also flesh and blood, it is always with emotion to share Di's tender sometimes sad chronicles. Allow me to take a bow.
