A lover of sky and nature since childhood, and an artificial satellite observer since the beginning of the 60's, I've been ever since fond of all kind of astronomical observations.

An engineer and a scientist, I have worked on variable star photometry as an astronomer (Pic du Midi Observatory, France ; European Southern Observatory, Chile).

As a serious hobbyist, I am used to observe from my backyard a lot of artificial satellites, as well as the main astronomical events happening in the sky, including occultations, paths of comets and dance of the planets and asteroids. I'm also at times a solar eclipse chaser.
