Hello. Phtography for me is a time freeze mechanism that enables one to refer to a point in time without actually time traveling (not sure if that's possible just yet). The mind can use these photographic reference points to evoke an emotion and/or recreate a mood from an earlier point in time. I try to allow photos to stir up my fantasies about the content of the photo. It's a mgical experience, unlike any other. I use photos to travel to places that I've never been. I take photos to remind me of a place that I've been already. I enjoy taking photos of different perspectives, which allows a view that might not have been apparent just walking around. A macro photo will make something tiny appear grandiose. A wide angle photo will encompass an entire scene to recreate the experience of its content. I could go on and on about why I enjoy photography. Photography keeps me going in life.

Currently, I shoot with two Sony cameras, one being the model DSC-F828 and the other an alpha 350 with two kit lenses. For the mean time I'll try to maximize my skill wth the P&S and the two kit lenses until I can get my hands on some better glass.

The two mains reasons why I like flickr is that I can share my photos with anyone that has internet access and receive feedback/comments on my photography. I enjoy feedback/comments because I enjoy learning to capture with new or different perspectives. I hope those of you that do view my photos enjoy my work, and if not, feel free to tell me why you didn't.
