I 1st became involved in photography in the late 70's when I took Photojournalism classes at NTSU. I was doing most of my shooting with a Yashica-mat twin lens reflex & a Minolta 35mm SLR. I went through a LOT of Tri-X and spent a great deal of time in the darkroom Lab on campus. Then life got in the way.... I married my wonderful wife Kathy (who I am still happily married to.. 40+ years) and had two wonderful sons. In order to provide financial security for them, I took on the position of diesel mechanic in the City of Dallas Bus Transit Agency where I now work as a Supervisor. All during the intervening years, I never lost my fascination with photography. Not too long ago my wife gave me a Nikon L810. I've pretty much been re-bitten by the photography bug ever since. My favorite subject? My 2 adorable grand-daughters, of course..... Update... I now use a Nikon D5100 with a nikkormat 18-105mm lens. I also have a collection of older Tamron Adaptall SP lenses....
