After a couple of years spent on adding as a contact everybody I received a request from, I am now in the process of changing the way I use Flickr.

I am paying more attention to the contacts who comment my photos on a regular basis and, obviously, I am also keener on commenting their pictures. If I see that someone checks my photostream regularly, I’ll eventually promote him/her to “friend” status, so that I can keep track of his/her work more closely too.

Actually, I grew tired of all those comment logos and from now on I’ll delete all the logos which haven’t got a REAL comment attached… I mean, I think it’s far better to waste a second to write a decent couple of lines, rather than pasting meaningless logos. This is why I am gradually leaving all the groups which have an “Add 1 / Comment 1” rule or the like… If that’s what you like, I am sorry but we have different opinions on how Flickr should be used :-)…
