I am a retired sea-going engineer, in fact my entire working career was spent in the Merchant Navy 1962 to 2005. Even after all that time I still retain my love of ships and associated machinery, old and new. Hobbies are golf, making small hardwood boxes and dabbling with Photoshop/Illustrator.

In 2014 I acquired a Sprocker puppy (Fern) who takes up a lot of my time and features in most of my recent photos.
