I consider myself new to photography (and a very slow learner). I bought my first camera - a Kodak Dx6490 - in 2004. I didn't know anything about photography back then; I just wanted to share some memories with my friends and family. So I did and I found out that photography is a wonderful hobby.

Since 2007 I wanted to do more, so I started looking for tips and tricks, I started learning about composition and manual functions of my camera. Now I'm trying to apply what I've learned and to learn more as I go. What next? I don't know... maybe I will join a workshop or take some classes when I consider myself worth it... maybe I will learn a little bit more about processing...

Now I also use a Canon 30D with EFS 17-85 IS and Hoya Uv and circular polarizing filters. I use to have a tripod, but I broke it in one of my trips :(

I'm mostly interested in landscape photography, because I love mountains as you can easily see in my photos. I'm open to constructive critique, even if they are negative critiques. I think criticism is a great help for me to improve my skills and knowledge and to see my photos differently.

Thank you all for your comments and thoughts!!!
