Über Helmuts Art die Realität unverfälscht auf seine Kamera zu bannen bin ich jedes Mal wieder erstaunt. Helmut schafft es eine öde Winterlandschaft in ein farbenfrohes Wunderwerk zu verwandeln bei dem man während der Betrachtung schon mal in die Fantasie abtaucht um den Eindruck auf sich wirken zu lassen… Wo andere mit post processing Techniken glänzen liegt bei Helmut das können eindeutig im Fotografieren. Darüber hinaus ist Helmut ein absolut authentischer Kontakt, dessen Meinung für mich als Richtwert gilt ob das Foto top oder flopp ist. Es ist gut dich als Kontakt zu haben!

After seeing quite a number of other Flickr photographers, I can say that I place Helmut at the top of the list. What I really admire is how he reaches what I think the goal of photography is--to elevate and enhance what we see up to a new reality through an original viewpoint. At the same time, he demostrates considerable technical skill. His photos are rich, varied and atmospheric.
