Just learning/experimenting/exploring with photography.... all really I know is what I learned in 10th grade Photo I class a hundred years ago.

I didn't think I'd actually ever have to say this but, I don't like it when you steal my images. So don't. If you are grey-block-head with no photostream, I will assume you are favorite-ing my shots to use them as your own and you will be blocked.

I shoot ...

Holga 120

a 1975 Minolta SRT 201

Canon AE1

Polaroid SX-70

Polaroid Land Camera 360

Polaroid 600 Onestep

Polaroid Land Camera Colorpack III

Polaroid Spectra

Canon Power Shot

aaand new to the dslr scene with a Nikon d60.

I honestly cannot believe that I have not written Erin a testimonial yet. Erin is just absolutely brilliant when it comes to retro inspired photography. Her work with film always leaves me in awe. I met this wonderful woman after my evil twin and her evil twin met up for a glorious, albeit brief, summer of love back in 2004. She is so fantastic. All of her authentic 100% Grade A vintage polaroid pictures are so inspiring. They make you almost want to kinda sorta kill all things digital and just wing it the old-fashioned way. Almost. Hmmm...what else. I didn't really have something prepared besides the evil twin bit. Ooh! I'm pretty sure Fountaincoke is the only person that can stand toe-to-toe with me when it comes to being a total smart-alecky punk. And. I. love. it. Seriously, she rocks and she's pretty and funny and she might like good movies (although i've never asked) and she might look nice in the buff (although i've never seen) and...she's a real splendid gal and someday i'm gonna write her a song and hopefully it'll be the lead song on a soundtrack to a really bad and cliche movie about a girl teaching a guy to dance. The End.

Erin is a constant source of inspiration for me. She sees everyday life with a creative twist. It is amazing what she can do with natural light! She is never lacking in creativity and even her "ordinary" pictures are extraordinary!

Everyday there is something completely off the wall amazing about her SP's whether it be the awesome negative space or just a simple smile. Never a dull photo and always something elaborate. Do yourself a favor and check out some of her first photos...they are beyond awesome. From the B&whites of the Golden Gate Bridge, to the Skate Park photos that are processed perfectly... Some awesome stuff. Erin you rock. Plain and Simple.

WHAT!?!?!?!!? No one else has written Erin a testimonial? OK, that's insane. I'm honored to be first and all, but still. Where to start? WHAT!?!?!?!!? No one else has written Erin a testimonial? OK, that's insane. I'm honored to be first and all, but still. Where to start? Well, beyond her amazing talent and inspiring creativity is an entertaining, outgoing and truly unique personality that lights this place up (even if the light is a bit grainy.) Everyday, Erin's is one of the handful of streams I eagerly visit to see what sort of a journey she's taking us on. Maybe it's to a land of pink, yellow or a simple thumbs up in the backyard. Whatever it is, it's real, honest and in one form or another, thought provoking. And if that isn't enough, there's this -- no one rocks the eye black and Cleveland Browns jersey better.
