The Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Meenakshi Ashram was opened in September 2005 as the ninth and newest ashram within the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre Organisation.

Taking it’s name from the Goddess presiding over the world famous Meenakshi temple complex in nearby Madurai, the ashram is situated within a forest preserve of vibrant natural beauty.

Travel amongst the ashram buildings through mango groves, banana palm lined path-ways and hear the cries of the resident peacocks. Wide open spaces, simple living structures and adherence to yogic principles make this an ideal place for the immersion into and serious study of yoga.
