My love are sweaters :). Started to knit with one, still did not get bored.

At the moment I am into bigger projects - dresses/jumpers and jackets, maybe even a coat, if I ever find the perfect yarn. Never tried knitting socks, but I just recently bought a pair of sock needles and must put them to work :)). I love the way lacy patterns look, but somehow I am always too lazy to start one. The ones I made were quit easy and took me a lot of time to get them finished. So I stick to something not so complicated and very wearable, with lots of original details instead of lace :).

Knitting aside, I love reading, swimming, skiing, riding, intelectual conversation, my job, Germany, my family and my husband, not necessarily in that order :)). I also like to travel and meet with my friends - mostly online, since they are now scattered all over the world. Cannot live without a good coffee in the morning, without my chinese lunch every Saturday and without my (almost) daily phone conversations with my mother. And it is most unwise that I’d be left alone shopping for yarn with my husband’s credit card - financial ruin can follow :)):)):))

I have some favourite patterns that I adapt constantly for many projects, a lot of ideas for future projects, but I am no designer, since I never write down my patterns and later I cannot remember which yarn I used, what needle size, how many stitches and how many rows I knitted... lazy me :)).
