I just bought my first DSLR in May 2008, but I have been on film for a long time. The DSLR and the explosion of the internet allows photographers to exchange ideas and learn really fast. I find that what I have learned in the past 1 year is more than all my years in film put together (not that I am a devout photographer during that time).

I love landscape but is seriously lacking in Singapore, hence I enjoy taking pictures when I travel.
