It's been suggested that perhaps I should say something here...

I am a retired aircraft maintenance technician (we used to call it a "mechanic") and I live in the vicinity of Cleveland, Ohio. In spite of having lived here since 1973, New Hampshire still claims at least an equal part of my heart as "home."

I am a reader, I listen to music (especially jazz and big bands and the great standards), lately I've been catching up on watching movies on DVD...my very best favoritest is FIELD OF DREAMS with SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION pretty firmly in second place. FOR LOVE OF THE GAME might sneak in between them, now that I think about it. Oh yes - I AM a baseball fan...my favorite teams are (of course) the Cleveland Indians, and whoever is playing against the Yankees today. And I LOVE playing with my grandchildren!

Beyond the above, my interests are pretty varied, and in no particular order they include....railroads (especially steam)...photography...Navy vessels (especially the WW II submarines)....lighthouses...historical/unusual architecture...model building....travel in the US...airplanes....the 50's and early 60's (I AM a "war baby")...seafood...guitar (no, I don't play it)...

I'm sure there are at LEAST 25 other things I'm leaving out!
