“It is always good to be a traveller, especially when the dapper black blazers, the bogus corporate jargons and the “I’m too busy” business trends annoy you. The fascination towards photography was present ever since I was a lil’ one. Yes, then I had no physical instrument to capture moments; I rather used to compose the frame through the world’s best ever camera, the twinkling eyes. So what I couldn’t share those ‘picture perfect’ moments with my loved ones, these impulsive photo sessions helped me discover the essential fundamentals of photography that even a renowned photography school or a ‘pro’ couldn’t meet. It didn’t take much time for me to follow the explored talent and soon I got equipped with the technicalities and processing know-hows of photography.
During the course of my evolution as a naturalist, photographer many thoughts attracted, provoked me to answer the significance of my existence on this planet earth. I tried to find the desired answer with joining my father’s business. Manipulated with my conscience to feel comfortable with the work pattern and a certain lifestyle. Couldn’t resist. I quit the proceedings. To justify the creative urge, I tried searching the big answer in the crazy world of animation. Few months pass by and I felt I was too human for this animated world. Restless as ever, I went for a year long sabbatical in search of the ultimate answer. And I found it in the midst of greens. Where the silence is silent and the human is well behaved. It was the moment of self realization. The moment of truth. The moment of my life. I found myself.
I decided to devote my life to nature in the truest form. After initiating a number of successful campaigns on conservations, tree plantation drives, local awareness programs and volunteering 5 years for ‘Nisarg’ a NGO by Sir Sunil Karkare. I realized my existence had a meaning, a greater implication and started channelizing my energy and resources towards God’s precious gift to the mankind.
In my opinion, an escape to the wildlife sanctuaries, national parks and impromptu detours is the purest path to claim your existence achieving true happiness within. Little wonder then, I feel emotionally closer to every Indian wildlife sanctuary and the gracious tigers. I’m getting closer to my own self. As everyday I head to search and explore more out of life, to travel unrestricted and capture best of the moments. Moments that came without a notice. But as they say, there is never an end to this search. It is more of a journey than a destination. Come, surrender to nature to meet yourself and discover the true essence of life. Folks, search on!”
