I have decided to make a few changes to my site. First of all my new screen name is Aoife 24K. On a couple of pinup related sites I began using this name. And it is time to bring all my sites in line with each other. Over the last year and a half or so I have been getter more and more into the vintage, retro, glamour girl, pin up scene. There is just something wonderful about how femininity, in all its aspects, is celebrated. I found that the retro look really suited me. And I have found great acceptance from the women with whom I've become friends who are also into the pinup look. But to those of you who have been my friends for the last few years, you have observed my transformation slowly occur. And you can see that it is still the same person whom you've known during that time. I thank those who have supported me over the years and who are my sisters. I welcome anyone new reading this profile.

My name is Aoife Kenny and I am a human being. Is there more to say? Well of course, let me be more specific .I am here as a female to share my sisterhood with other human beings. I was not born female. And much of the time I am an average guy. Oops, I guess I let the cat out of the bag. But I am here to share my humanity with other human beings, that is really all.
Being here on Flickr allows me to share my joy for life. Of course, it also allows me to share my photos of myself. I am rather selective with whom I share, however. A few of my photos are for public viewing. The vast majority of my photographs are for my contacts only. I like to maintain a sense of decorum and civility. Being selective in who gets to view my pics allows me to do that.
If you are not already a friend and would like to get to know me, check out my public photos. Maybe you have even seen some of them in the groups in which I am a member. If you would like to see my photos, become a contact of me, please write and ask. Of course, I expect my contacts to be as kind, considerate and well mannered as I attempt to be. I think you can gather what I mean.
I have always tried to portray my feminine beauty here on my Flickr site. Like so many others, over time I have been able to refine and improve my outward image. I try to be as beautiful as possible. I take what nature has given me and then develop it into as beautiful a form as possible. But being beautiful is not just about how I look. It is just as much about how I act and interact with the world.
Previously I called my site Dancing Celt. And I did that because I do love to dance and I have been dancing for most of my life. But in fact I have posted very few photos of me dancing. So I have decided to rename my site Aoife Takes Tea. I do have quite a few photos of me taking tea. I love to have tea. And I think that taking tea kind of exemplifies the type of dignified life that I try to lead.
There are so many things that make life beautiful. I try to take full advantage of life's beauty. Life can be very difficult at times. There are so many people who have such difficult lives. I try to acknowledge both life's hardships and its joys. But I try to accentuate the positive as much as humanly possible.
I would be remiss if I did not publicly acknowledge all of the friends whom I've met here on Flickr over the last few years. Without them, I would not be here. Without you, there would be no me. I love you all!
Oh and one or two more things. I am a Southern California gal. But I am in touch with my Irish roots. So my name reflects my Irish heritage. My first name is pronounced: E fuh. But it is is easier for you, please call me Eve.

My immediate reaction is to think "what have I done to deserve such kindness" but then something struck me. I think that is how you make all your friends feel - as if they are the only person in the room and the most important person in the world to you when you speak to them. That is a rare gift my sweet girlfriend, and one which I count myself truly blessed to be the recipient of.
