Living in a remote town at the foot of the North Cascade Mountains, I am inspired by the beauty that surrounds me. Originally from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, I began working for the National Park Service after graduating from college. I have worked and lived in some of the most beautiful parts of America, most recently spending two years in Hawai’i. I majored in Fine Arts in college, with an emphasis in Painting, and also majored in Natural Resources. My jewelry represents a melding of my love for both the natural world and art.
I create each piece of jewelry in my home studio. I use the highest quality materials, making sure to buy stones from reputable companies. All of the silver I use is either sterling or fine silver. Sterling silver is 92.5 % silver, alloyed with copper to give it strength. Fine silver is 99.9% silver. The weaving technique is based on ancient methods, but modified into my own designs.
Everything in my shop is designed and handmade by me. Each piece is unique. Although I sometimes make the same design more than once, each piece of jewelry is made individually and varies from piece to piece.
