I have always had an interest in sailing small boats. In my teenage years I saw the International 10 sq m canoe but it took another twenty years before I owned and started sailing one. In the 1990s I wrote a history of the class, which is one of the oldest dinghy classes, with a fabulous array of trophies dating back to 1875. The photos on flickr reflect this interest.

My other interest is as a ceramicist, working at the Clay studio in Philadelphia. I will perhaps eventually get photos of my work on line (or flickr). Prior to that I was a mathematical Physicist teaching Control engineering at A British University.
