Photos make me happy. Images are a brilliant mechanism of communication in today's online world. There is no denying that the power of an image can transform and change us in very deep ways...whether it inspires a vacation, a tear, a smile, laughter, or nothing at all of course depends on the shot, the weather, how much sleep you got last night, if you're hungry, etc....you get the point.

The desire to capture the big and small moments along the spectrum of life is an undulating force in my photography....the subject matter is only limited by my daily experiences.

I have been fortunate to reside in the Pacific Northwest for about 21 years. I went to college in Bellingham, WA, moved back to Portland, Oregon after, and am now living in the small high desert town of Shoshone, Idaho. Quality of life here is peaceful and an inspiring environment to make art. I am adjusting to small town life and am thankful for the opportunities and good reception of my artwork I have received here so far. "If you can stand the challenge of all your trials and remain calm--that is true happiness." --Paramahansa Yogananda

In other words: "Be still and Know that I am God" Psalm 46:10
