I'm an American that lives in Malang, Indonesia and I have recently taken up photography. I have only been into photography for a little while now, and I am trying to learn as much as I can. I use a Nikon D40, and I seem to like it so far. For my skill level, I just wanted to get a good all around DSLR and the D40 seemed to be a great camera for the price.

I've been in Indonesia for about six months now, and I will be here for at least six more months, perhaps even longer. The people here are kind, and the country has so much natural beauty. The colors here are amazing! I just need to learn how to capture the bright colors! All of the pictures you see on here were taken in SE Asia and they are meant to document my travels in Asia.
