For years I never touched a camera, but a visit to Italy's beautiful Friuli-Venezia Giulia region in Oct. 2007 inspired me to take some photos and post them here.

You will see three (yes, 3) generations of FVG photos in my photostream: those from the 2007 trip, taken with a point-n-shoot Canon SD750; shots taken in May 2009 with a borrowed Canon 5D; and photos from the April/May 2012 trip, taken with my Canon T1i and backup camera Nikon s8200. Since then I have purchased a Sony NEX-6 (used for the 2013 Denmark trip) and a Canon 6D for the 2014 Danube trip.

It was wonderful to meet many of the friends I've made here during the 2009 and 2012 Friuli trips, and some of these fine folks spent a lot of their time taking us around to places we would never have seen on our own. Thank you all!
