Hi all,

I am Shruti... I am an architect by profession and have started quilting since January 2010... I am in love with it as much as I love my little one... I live in India with my DH (Rohit) and my DS (Aadi)...

Quilting in India is an adventure for me... I do not get even the basic supplies like rotary cutter and mats here in the town that I stay in... I have to travel more than 250 kms to get them... But that has not stopped me from experimenting... I try to make do with what I get in the local market...

I love colorful things... Fabrics, quilts everything... In quilts those made with solid fabrics are my favorite... So all my swap partners, anything that you make out of solid fabric will be a sure shot hit with me...

I also love modern prints in quilting fabric... Some of my favorites are the Remix series or anything by Anne Kelle, Dream on, Dr Suess, Its a Hoot, Pure, FFA 1 and 2... and actually a lot more...

I do not like batiks and loud fabrics. I also dislike very small prints on fabrics in neutral shades... I love fabric with text...

But the most important thing, I will quote one of my swap partners here... "Make something that will make you smile, then when I look at it I can think of you smiling!" Isn't that a wonderful thought???

I am into swaps not just to make and exchange stuff, but to make friends... I like sending out a bit of me to you in every swap... I might not be perfect, but I assure you I do wrap it in a lot of love!
