Based on a range of life experiences, along with years of working as a coach, Hazel uses a coaching approach that encourages you to develop professionally by initiating action, working with your challenges, identifying alternatives, growing ideas and inspirations, and taking informed risks. Having worked in a variety of areas (inc telecommunications, IT, retail, rural, recruitment, insurance, government sector, education, and non-profit), she is the owner and director of her own successful business. Furthermore, Hazel is ardent about working with people to rethink 'learning' so that it meets the needs of all learners, any place, any time - no matter what the age of the learner. She feels it’s about recognising everyone as being both learners and teachers, with something to contribute.

Hazel is a qualified coach, has been recognised for her work in New Zealand and the Middle East, and is the recipient of several awards and nominations for eLearning, programme design, research, and education practice.
