For the last two years I have been managing Cooking With Teresita and Teresita Bed & Breakfast located in Adrogue, the town where I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I left Argentina many many years ago but as an adult living in the United States I started to get more and more involved with Buenos Aires. By managing both adventures we started 2 years ago, I grew to loveeverything that Argentina and mostly Buenos Aires has to offer.

One day I approached my mother who after 20 years as a school principal stayed at home. My mother has always been very active and one of the things she loves to do the most is cooking. She is an amazing cook! So, I asked my mom if she would be interested in turning her home (her lovely, lovely home) into a bed and breakfast, she agreed as she very much enjoys receiving people from around the world.

My father, a pediatric doctor, loved the idea as well and then the three of us started Teresita bed and breakfast.

Some time has gone bye, we had our first guests and one day I asked my mother if she will share with visitors her best secret recipes like the empanadas o chipa Paraguaya and if she would allow me to turn into a "family business" and so she agreed.

Today, we usually have a waiting list for the bed and breakfast and we conduct two cooking classes per week. People love my mother and I believe is because she is Genuine, has a passion for everything that is native to Argentina, she is friendly, approachable, just, tender, patient.

well! after all is my mom and I love her!

I love Buenos Aires, it has so many things revolving to food, cooking, and an amazing list of world quality restaurants.

I am dedicating more and more time building a culture of cooking for the city of Buenos Aires and hope that these images is a good point of start to show the world how beautiful is "Mi Buenos Aires Querido"
