No, I don't own any sophisticated camera but a very handy one, so far.

I think I almost hated the cameras when I was younger, when I just arrived Europe. Every Asian with a backpack and a camera would be a tourist. I couldn’t give up my backpack, so I left the camera behind.

I travel a lot, it is for pleasure, also for my work, thus I am often alone. I used to think that when I saw a scenery that touched me, I would capture the moment and it would become part of my soul. I wouldn't forget those unforgettable moments, no, I wouldn’t.

Then I realized that taking pictures is actually not a bad idea, when I learned that I could share my moments much easily with my family and friends that are thousands of miles away from me, I started with my cell phone and publish photos on my Space, Of course, no professionalism is concerned. The photos are only messages to my mother that I am fine, I suppose.

Couples of years ago I moved to Ostia, part of Rome that is located on the seaside. Nothing but just the sea, the water is not clear emerald green like in Sardegna, nor deep blue as in Capri. It’s even annoying to see all the private beaches and restaurants standing along the coast. But then I discovered peace, after everyone is gone for the day, walking along the beach and watch some evening fishing on Sundays become my spiritual session before a new week starts. Ostia is a little luxury for our very chaotic Roman life.

I take even more photos now, when I realized that my memory was actually not so good to remember all the unforgettable moments. I enjoy taking photos of sunsets, different sunsets in different seasons, different colours that talks to my heart.

When I started to visit this Website, I thought it would be probably time to start. Watching your beautiful work is now a fine activity during my breaks through the day.

So let’s start.
