CHANDRAMUKHI CHANDRASHEKHAR, born in Kollapur taluk of Mahabubnagar district in Andhra Pradesh, has become a well known Mimicry Artist & Anchor in a short span of time. He did his schooling in Kollapur, Mahabubnagar and Hyderabad. He specialists in imitating sounds, voices of different people and humorous situations. When he was studying Xth, he was inspired by a mimicry program and from then on practiced with sincere effort and determination. This reward was a prize in the college competition. Which further strengthened his desire to pursue a career in Mimicry. Till this date, he has given more than 2000 programs in all over India and also out of country(Singapore and Malaysia)

Though he considers all Mimicry Artists of the state as his Gurus, his special regards go to World Famous Mimicry Artist “Father of Mimicry” MIMICRY SAMRAT Dr.NERELLA VENUMADHAV. A seminar organized by the above Samrat proved to be the turning point in CHANDRASHEKHAR’s career, as he learnt the basic facts about giving programs in mimicry.

Chandrashekhar considers himself as one of those lucky few who got a chance to teach mimicry to slum children with under “SIDUR” Organization. He not only imitates Telugu Cine actors but also Talking Doll(Ventriloquism). From his childhood, he had a passion for acting. He joined Andhra Balananda Sangham at the age of three and improved his acting under the guidance of Radio Annayya Sri NYAYAPATHI RAGHAVARAO, founder of Andhra Balananda Sangham and Sahithya Siromani Sri.V.Shankaraiah. He won the “Best Actor & Best Comedian Awards” in many competitions held in the twin cities. His potrayal of “Chanakya” further increased his fame. He was a child artist in many telugu movies and is at present supporting the role of comedian in T.V and Films. He is also interested in Film Direction, Poetry, Western Music, Painting and classical arts.

Just like the two faces of a coin, he considers his interest and the support of the cultural organization go hand in hand in bringing out the real artist in him and establishing a place for himself in the field of Mimicry. He ardently wishes to give programs and please everyone is the Country. For an artist of much fine caliber, it is no exaggeration to say that his programmes are going invade TV & Radio.
