I've decided to put on recent work, some of my strongest work is earlier analogue monochrome

I share with the majority the value of trying to do my best to create as good as an image as possible there may be disagreements on how this would be achieved which can be a good thing

Susan Sontag’s view that photography is the only naturally surrealistic medium has become a bit of a cliche but I think it is right: in the sense Andrew Breton says of surrealism being about the marvellous rather than fantastic. So for me creating the best images is to use the strength of the medium which is its spontaneity drawing from intuition and deeper
