The Young Director Award (www.youngdirectoraward.com) has supported and promoted debuting international creative talent in commercial film production since 1998.

Submission to the 2009 11th anniversary Young Director Award:

- Submissions will be accepted as of March 1st, 2009.

- The submission deadline is April 15th, 2009.

- Submitted films must be among the first four commercials made by the director.

- Submitted films must have been completed between January 1st, 2008 and April 15th, 2009.

- Submission is open to EVERYONE.

- The administrative fee is €38 (except for Films Schools and the Fabulous Four winners from the ADFEST), which includes submission and attendance at the award ceremony.

Winners will be rewarded at a prestigious ceremony in Cannes on June 24, 2009 - During the Cannes Lions Festival.
