Going through Cornelia's stream reminds me of nothing so much as listening to early Kraftwerk ... not as a literal feeling of bleeps and tones, but more the sense of distortion, signals jammed, endlessly circled, experimented with, and explored with a real freedom and sense of adventure that few photographers allow themselves. I adore how you push the histogram to the maximum and beyond, to find out what might be there at the end of the line ... It makes your work feel vital, fresh and ever so slightly dangerous! It's like the air is radioactive with possibilities - you just have to get out there (and more importantly, in there, emotionally) to discover them. I find this energising and inspiring. The result is a marvellous array of instants that often feel fleeting, dislocated, intensely personal, but at the same time, hugely accessible to the viewer, to find their own delights inside.
