Photography is one of my favourite hobbies, and I've dabbled in it since I was a child. I enjoy taking photos of many subjects - flowers, food, scenery, nature, still, life - anything that inspires me, intrigues me, or amazes me with its beauty.

After using my Minolta SLR for 20 years, I got my first digital camera in 2005 - a little Kodak point n shoot. My trusty Kodak served me well and did a decent job. From the Kodak I moved to a Panasonic Lumix with a Leica zoom lens. In 2012 I was very happy to finally acquire my first digital SLR - a Nikon D5100. Since then I have upgraded to a D7100 and am still having fun learning about this camera. For easy walkabouts I use my Sony rx100. More recently I have been using a Sony A6000 mirrorless with a sigma 30 mm lens. It's a great combo.
