"I fell in to a sea of grass and disappeared among the shady blades. The children all ran over me screaming 'tag! You are the one.'" - Perry Farrell

I tend to approach my photography from a journalistic background. I do use Photoshop when necessary to color or light correct my photos, but sparingly. And I also retouch some of my portraits, but I prefer my shots to be true to life, or at least as the camera catches it. However, now and then I can't resist the opportunities PS provides to alter or create images that are unreal.

And if it isn't obvious, I'm a surfer too. But I can't find anyone I trust with my camera to shoot me. So for now, my surfing goes unseen by you, the wonderful viewer of my Flickr page.

About my self nudes. I shoot me because I can't find anyone in the podunk little town I live in to pose nude for me. The human body is (most often) one of the most beautiful forms on the Earth. And I love to capture it unclothed (even if it is only me). I'm not into genital exposition. However, if it is done tastefully and artistically, even the most hidden parts of the human body can be beautiful.

One other thing: If you are so enthralled by one of my shots and just have to have it for yourself (otherwise known as stealing), at least give me the respect not to use it for profit and if it appears in a publication, please give me the photo credit.

I hope you enjoy my photography and please, leave comments (positive or negative)...I value the input of other photographers.

Cheers,

Eric
