In 2003 I came across a Martin Cheek mosaic book at the library--I was inspired to buy some tile and I haven't looked back since!

Because I love animals, especially birds, those are my favorite mosaic subjects.

What can I say, I just feel the need to express myself artistically with little pieces of colored glass!
