My friends and I are always looking for an estate sale, thrift store, garage sale, or a good trash find.

Antique stores and EBay are fun for ideas and an occasional purchase.

I love my collection of American Victorian walnut furniture, and enjoy adding a bit of vintage cast iron or wrought iron furniture and other metal items here and there.

My first antique, at age 16, was a green Depression glass sugar bowl and lid. I was hooked! I found this wonderful treasure in the Salvation Army drop off box, and rationalized that since I was dropping off a whole carload of stuff for my Mother, I could just trade! I really enjoyed all that snooping through the drop off box until I went away to college.

I have since grown up, evolved, have new insights, search for the truth, ask to be aligned with the highest good, and want to be a role model for my son. Sooooo.... no more trading. I still have that Depression glass sugar bowl and it still is in perfect shape! I am leaving it to

the Salvation Army in my will.
