I am an amateur hobbiest and am addicted to photography. I enter competitions from time to time and have won many awards to date.

2009 - Winner of the RTE National Weather Competition - Autumn.

2011 - Finalist in the RTE Weather Competition

2012 - Finalist in the RTE Weather Competiton

2012 - Best image in the Environmental Portraiture section at SACC Competitions

2013 Best image in the Environmental Portraiture section of the Irish Photographic Federation Competitions.

2013/ 2014 Best image in the Environmental Portraiture section of SACC Competitions.

2013 - Got 2 Acceptances in the Cork International Salon of Photography.

2013 - My image of Dungarvan Harbour was used to advertise Christmas in Dungarvan- on billboards and was published - the cover of a Christmas Brochure 2013.

2014 - Best image in the projected section of the Creative Digital Competition and also won Best image overall across all categories of this competition. I have had great success in many local and regional competitions.

To me, its not all about the competitions. I enter these because I love to challenge myself.

But most importantly, I love Mother Nature and her animals. As a photographer, I see the beauty of this earth and want to preserve Mother Nature's jewels through my lens. It gives me a great sense of peace. Also, I have many wonderful friends who have the same interest as me. I am a member of the Deise Camera Club and really enjoy this.
