Born in Wolseley, Saskatchewan we lived in the Qu' Appelle valley until I was eight. Since then I have been an Albertan. My interests and work have taken me to many diverse areas - from my back-yard garden to Bolivia.

I graduated from U of C with a BFA - major in Photography in 1978 and completed my BA Art History (Distinction) in 1980. Since then I have been active in photography and video.

I photograph everything all the time because photography is part of my life. It adds joy and expression to all that I do.

I have recently expanded my photographic equipment to include medium format digital and look forward to working with this to realize my art without the darkroom.
