After owning a compact, then a bridge and a dslr that I didn’t really like, i moved to the micro 4/3 cameras with a lumix G2.
However, as good as the G2 was (is) I didn’t feel anything for it.
As a non pro, I decided to sell the G2 and buy something closer to what I would like and the Sigma DP2M was exactly that: a weird piece of kit with lots of limitations... but I simply love it.
But I realized I was missing on possibilities. I wasn’t ready to part with the DP2M so I decided to look for a back-up camera. I found a great deal for an E-P2. Yes, buying an E-P2 in 2018 sounds stupid, I know. But again I’m not a pro, just an enthusiast looking for a decent but capable backup camera. Old does not mean bad and in terms of quality and possibilities, it’s more than what I paid for. Its fun, compact and delivers good enough pics. I got the perfect combo for my needs and both cameras combined were cheaper then some new ones without any lens... It does the trick I guess.
Now lets shoot, have fun and progress shall we?
