Drag to set position!
I'm probably best described as a "Semi-Pro" shooter. I've been taking pictures my whole life, but the last 10 years it really started becoming more than just a hobby.
I work in entertainment and my job requires that I occasionally shoot celebrities. The turning point was getting a photo published in People magazine. I've since been advancing my skills and the results have improved greatly.
In fact my photostream is an evolution of my shooting abilities and my understanding of light and its properties. You can see a definitive point when my shooting style changed from directive flat light to diffuse, soft light. I think you can also see a point at which I figured out the balance between ISO, aperture, and shutter speed. I didn't quite understand why some photos turned out, and others failed.
I'm heavily influenced by the work of Joe McNally.
