I'm a 30-something and live in London with my partner, who is a very good boy and allows me to indulge my love of "creating", and my young stepson. I stopped working as a lawyer several years ago to "look after the house" for which now read "do lots of sewing"! I have always loved creative stuff and like to give things a go. As a family, we all embrace the vintage lifestyle and are mad about the 1940s often visiting re-enactments in period garb. I am a vintage fabricaholic. Our homes have appeared in British Ideal Homes and BBC Homes & Antiques magazines.

I love all types of sewing and crafting but in recent years, I have concentrated on patchworking and make quilts, cushions, bags and all sorts! I blog about my life and my sewing and my handmade goodies have found homes all over the world through my blog shop and Etsy store.
