I thought id upgrade my profile to reflect my time on Flickr. I joined in Feb 2008, i think at looking for nice pics and finding them in Flickr. I quickly became addicted and had to change from just pointing and shooting to being creative. I enjoyed this immensely and was shooting round all over the place. Funny how one of my best shots was taken two weeks after joining. I talked to and met some lovely people and like everybody eventually had to upgrade my camera. At that time and even now i am not convinced of the superiority of DSLR cameras and eventually i bought a Panasonic

ZX 18, a super machine with a Leica lens, versatile with no need for lens changing

I have now upgraded to a Nikon D90 and it will take me some time to get around but at first, it seems awesome

I then moved on to Photoshop CS3 and was lucky as my son is a mature student. I find it awesome and it has virtually changed my concept of photo managing around completely. I have also added Photomatrix to my armourey

I love Landscapes,Water, Forests, Nature,People but generally i am up for anything. Years ago i started taking pics of the Brecon and Mon canal and became obsessed with capturing all the bridges, which i eventually did. In August i spent some time in the Royal Gwent hospital and i carried out a lot of photoshopping of shots of the canal which i am quite pleased with.
