My name is Bruce Elias Robert from Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia. Born and raised in Pohnpei since 1964. Attended Pohnpei Island Central School, continued at College of Micronesia-FSM (formerly Community College of Micronesia) and earning a Bachelor's of Arts in General studies from Eastern Oregon University (formerly Eastern Oregon State College). Served in the Armed Forces (Navy) from 1988 to 1992 and returning to Pohnpei in July 1992. Employed at the current College of Micronesia-FSM as a librarian in charge of Archives and Pacific collection since November 1992. In 1999, anointed as Lay Minister for the United Church of Christ in Pohnpei (UCCP); and in 2013 anointed as Reverend Bruce Robert serving Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord. A family man of 3 with 5 siblings (Elaine, Leslie, Sahn, Eleanor, Eloreen); 1 half-sister (Ruthie Robert Solomon(2010); three half-brothers (late Spensin James(2012); late Semensin James(2018); and Nicholas Pedrus). Married on March 20, 1993 to Evelyn Herrison Ramon. We have 2 sons who passed when young, and one daughter alive (Beverly-Ann Robert) married to Kevin Charley in April 2014.
