i live on the west coast of canada, where i am a student. i love birds, cats, flowers, insects ... pretty much all plants and animals! photography is one way that i try to record some of the beautiful and astonishing events that i am fortunate to experience in nature.

for me, photos provide reminders - reminders of hope, love, friendship, strength, and beauty, among other things. photography is not so much about 'capturing the perfect shot' as it is about the wondrous experience that compels me to take a photo. the important part for me is being able to communicate some small part of the emotion i was experiencing so that others might share in and relate to it.
