Short, fat, bald, old and boring! OK, that's a bit harsh, but it saves anyone else saying it!!

Was with London Transport and successors from 1975. Married and moved east in 1982. Ran East London Coaches for 16 years,.

Filling in the gaps, I was among a group of 8 who purchased RF 503 in Feb 1977. After some months all was not well, so 503 went and was replaced by RF 392, at which time I changed my allegiance to RF 672 which was also parked at Richmond. The assorted other vehicles I was loosely involved with before moving to Cobham were RF 644, RF 136, RT 3198 and RT 3733. I met my wife-to-be on RT 190! RF 672 was kept at Cobham from 1979, but left for greener pastures in 2010.

I've done two stints on Cobham's committee and two goes at editing their magazine, but "retired" at the end of 2011. I was persuaded to take it on again in 2021!

When East London Coaches closed I took over as Customer Services Manager at ELBG, now Stagecoach London. I retired from there in September 2020, 45 years (and three days) after starting work with LT.
