Hello, my name is Frank Bray and I live in picturesque Eastern Ontario, Canada, a place of rural family farms and tranquil small towns. It is here in my small workshop that I handcraft my wonderfully comfortable rocking chairs and accessories.

My passion for rocking chairs began several years ago when a friend brought me an old 1910 circa mission rocker that had been her grandparent's wedding gift. It needed new runners. I was able to perfectly match the runners and thought the style, proportions, and construction were truly inspired. So based on that design, I began to build my own rocking chairs. In time, I have modified the styles and even begun to build matching rocking footstools, and I have begun to make nursery rockers as well.

My chairs come in two basic styles, Mission and a more curvy Granddaddy style, so named because it resembles the old chairs that were once common in your grandparents' front parlour. Upright, ergonomically comfortable seating, perfect proportions, and solid construction characterize my hand-crafted pieces. My standard rockers can fit average-sized people from under 5 feet to over 6 feet, and I have had persons well over 300 lbs sitting in my chairs and telling my they were very comfortable and supportive.

One of my talents is customizing chairs--you can choose the wood finish and fabric, even supply your own fabric--and I will do my best to satisfy you.
