Drag to set position!
I just moved to Wisconsin after 40 years of living elsewhere. Elsewhere meaning warm climates - mostly California. The time was right and it reduced my stress greatly. Transition is always an ordeal and I am still in the process of finding places where I fit in, or if I fit in. For Christmas my daughter bought me this camera (actually she bought me a facial, which I love, but I traded it in for a camera) Ths process of getting up in the morning and taking photos really lends substance to my delicate balancing act - sanity. January and February are difficult months in the cold North. As I write the snow plows have blocked my driveway; it is below zero ( actually -30 with windchill) and the sidewalks are treacherously slippery. I got a few photos of The Lake this morning but the camera was too cold to have an erection of its lens, poor dear. I am feeling myself to be quite happy though and I owe it all to Liz and Kent and their Christmas gift!
I cannot wait for Spring.
Sorry about all the animal photos but those are my walking buddies and with the ice on the pavement I can't get any farther before I shuffle home.
