I am me - and I am ok with it. I love life, nature, real people, god, family and country. I love all things creative. I am positive and I embrace the passions of life and I strive to roll with life's punches and let things roll off me.

Lately, I am becoming a flickr addict - because the talented ones here are so wonderfully and creatively capturing the beauty of life with such amazing clarity and color.

My thoughts on why I like abstract photography:

Good abstract photography has the ability to see and capture the beauty that exist in everyday things. These may be everyday normal, mundane things that one would not otherwise notice, yet when isolated apart from their environment and photographed up close, they project a beauty all of their own.

Abstract digital photography captures the moment, beckons us to notice and implores us to see and appreciate the beauty that exist in all things around us. I have a great appreciation for the talent, the timing, the skilled artistry and the great eye it requires of the person behind the lens.

Put simply : good photography is art.

Right now, I have a camera that really sucks. I had it before my interest in photography evolved so I am patiently waiting to decide just what camera it is that I really want. Meanwhile, I am studying the pros on flickr and waiting.
