I'm a photographer based in the North East of England, Teesside to be precise.

I specialise in strobist portrait photography, but have a go at all sorts.

I have done weddings, promotional stuff, family portraits, bands, christenings, etc

I got into photgraphy when I got a part time job at Boots The Chemist when I was at college. I then went on to be a mini-lab manager at Jessops developing photos where I bought my first 35mm SLR camera and began experimenting with my own photography.

I traded all my SLR gear and lenses when digital camera's were brand new, but have now gone back to SLR's in their digital form to re-explore my passion for capturing great images.

These days I'm really into portrait photography. I take a lot of inspiration from Zack Arias' One Light Workshop. I have learned so much from him. If you are at all interested in 'off camera flash' photos, aquaint yourself. IMO he is the main man in modern portrait photography.
