The coming together of DJs Phillip A, Fatu & Ali Disco B. together with their experience in the crazy digital dance music production world gives us Killer on the Dancefloor.

 

Inspired by the mash-up scene KOTD aka Killer on the Dancefloor have been running along the lines of 2 many DJs & Soulwax. They are also the founders of the biggest colective of Maximal/freestyle in Brasil, The CREW.

 

They have shared the stage with luminaires such as Jus†ice (Ed Banger), Digitalism (Kitsune), Steve Slingeneyer (Soulwax), So Me (Ed Banger), Tittsworth, Pendulum, Metric, The Go Team!, Fujiya & Miyagi, Mixhell, Bonde do Role, Mehdi (Scenario Rock), Larry Tee (USA), Zegon e Squeak E. Clean (N.A.S.A.).

 

When not performing the Killer on the Dancefloor also run Maximize, a sub label from Transmit Music, the first dedicated to Maximal in Brasil.

 

They are also on the cast of the agency SmartBiz for DJs.

Inspirados na recente cultura dos Mash-Ups o KOTD bebe na fonte de nomes como 2 many DJs e Soulwax, além de serem um dos fundadores do maior coletivo Maximal/Freestyle do Brasil, o CREW (www.myspace.com/crewsp).

Em sua carreira já passaram por clubs e festivais como Skol Beats 2008, Pachá (SP), D-EDGE (SP), MOTOMIX Festival 2008, Club Gloria (SP), Sedna Lounge (GO), Roxy (BH), Vegas (SP), Clash (SP), Jockey Club (Caxias do Sul-RS) entre outros. Também já foram responsáveis pela trilha das grifes Diesel e Motorola e OI no SPFW.

 

Quando não estão em cena, o Killer on The DanceFloor administra o selo MAXIMIZE (www.myspace.com/maximizerecords), sub selo da gravadora TRANSMIT MUSIC, e o primeiro do Brasil dedicado ao maximal. Alem do selo o KOTD esta sendo responsável por vários remixes de artistas como Larry Tee (USA) e The Qemists (UK), banda em que Mike Patton ex-vocalista do extinto Faith no More canta, esse single foi lançado pelo cobiçado selo alemão Ninja Tune Records.

 

Atualmente fazem parte do casting da SmartBiz for DJs (www.smartbiz.com.br) e residentes dos Clubs Gloria e D-Edge.
